**1**My name is celtic and means "poet", but my folks just picked it out of a baby name book. My actual heritage is German and some Germans who bought a windmill and decided to be dutch for a while.
**2**When I was a little kid, I either wanted to be a cartoonist or a mechanical engineer. Whenever Valentine's day rolled around in elementary school I would make some complicated chutes/levers/rubber-band-spring-loaded contraption for my paper valentines mail box for my desk.
**3**I've got my own Ukulele and have taught myself a few songs like "Somewhere Over the Rainbow", "California Girls", and the theme song to Chip and Dale's Rescue Rangers. Honestly though, I originally thought about getting a regualar guitar, but figured I wasn't a sexy enough person to be a guitarist. I also tried to learn accordion, but that thing's just too damn complicated.
**5**I've been around smokers my whole life. First my father, then my roomate in San Francisco, My best friend in Ukiah, and a temporary roomie/leech in Minneapolis. Now I smoke. Can you get addicted from second hand?
**6**The best years of my life so far were living in San Francisco and hanging out at the Isotope. I had my first drink of booze there. One day I was just walking into the store as usual and Larry Young shoved a scotch glass into my hand and said "Teague, drink this!" I downed it before asking what it was. Later on Larry apologized saying he didn't know it was my first drink and he was sorry that he had now spoiled me for other scotches. It was good stuff, but I still enjoy plenty other scotch now.
