Good lord, you realize that you'll now become the next Internet Celebre' de Jour (like I can really speak French), correct? You realize that your act of inspired boredom will be viewed by millions of people who'll think "Christ, why didn't *I* think of that" and achieve a status of "All Your Base", Goatse Man and the Giant Clock Spider? You realize that fan pages will be devoted to you; that knock-off saline mazes will be created, photographed and posted to the web?

I came to this site via a group dedicated to Counter-Strike. I'll now re-post this to a site dedicated to Evil websites. Next, Something Awful will pick it up next, or (god forbid) Fark. Freepers will debate on the "right"ness of your experiment, the Democratic Underground will make analogies to US foreign policy. Then the gaming sites will pick up on it as the "KEWL SITE OF THE DAY11!1", then maybe Tom's Hardware and Ars Technica will try to prove they're still minimally hip by mentioning how the average Windows user is like "a slug in a salt maze" while comparing Linux users to sleek, sexy dolphins or somesuch. Onward will this site go, bouncing off Blogs and 15-minute-lived "LOOK WHUT I FOUND ON TEH INTERNUT!1!!" sites like a memeic pinball. Finally, if you get really lucky, your slug will be combined with No-Hands the Kitten into a Flash video for the latest White Stripes song.

Then, for the rest of your life, you will be "that guy who made the salt maze and put the slug in it". That shall be your Warholian 15 minutes of fame; you'll join Maher and that stoner chick in the Mac commercials and all the others who enjoyed a moment in the Internet sun, then faded back to life amoungst the mortals, forever knowing that while they were cool in their moment, they couldn't hold a candle to a man who could stretch his anus out to seven inches.

And that's the way God wants it to be, because God have Goatse Man an elastic anus, and he gave you some Morton's and an alarmingly-nasty slug.
